University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology have filed a lawsuit seeking the federal court to temporarily block a Trump administration rule that would bar foreign students from remaining in the United States if their universities are not holding in-person classes this fall. The Trump Administration has been touting the plan to reopen all the schools and colleges through out the United States during this fall.  But many of the states are reluctant to reopen the schools as the serge of infection of COVID-19 continues.   The Trump administration announcement blindsided academic institutions grappling with the logistical challenges of safely resuming classes as the coronavirus pandemic continues unabated around the world, and surges in the United States. There are several other lawsuits being filed in various Federal Courts throughout the United States.  An injunction order is expected anytime soon.
