Effective July 15th the Consulates May Begin Phased Resumption of Visa Services based on local conditions

The U.S. Department of State on 07/11/2020 has announced that beginning July 15, US Embassies and Consulates may begin the phased resumption of routine visa services depending on local conditions.  This update was made via Twitter. There are still several countries that are severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.  Such countries will see further delays in the resumption of consular services.  India is continuously fighting the spread of COVID-19 and will see further delays in the reopening of the consulates and embassies.
