Ms. Mika B. Kozar, Esq. is an accomplished U.S. attorney with significant experience providing strategic corporate immigration counsel to clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small- and medium-sized organizations. She holds a law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in New Jersey; a Master’s degree, summa cum laude, in Human Resource Management from Rutgers University in New Jersey; and a Bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, in Business Management from Rutgers University in New Jersey.

Ms. Kozar is licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey, the State of New York, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. She was selected to the Super Lawyers’ New York Metro Rising Stars list in 2017 and the Super Lawyers’ New Jersey Rising Stars list in 2018, 2019 and 2020, a nomination-only honor for the top 2.5 percent of attorneys who are under the age of 40 or in practice ten years or less.Ms. Kozar has worked with multiple corporate clients across a variety of industries. She previously played a leading role in immigration program management and compliance for a large multinational pharmaceutical and medical devices company at the world’s largest global immigration law firm. She also previously worked at a boutique immigration law firm in New York City, and has served as an Alternate Responsible Officer and administered J-1 Exchange Visitor Programs for multinational clients.

Ms. Kozar has extensive experience with employment-based temporary and permanent visa categories, including Labor Certification (PERM) applications; Multinational Executive and Manager petitions; Outstanding Researcher petitions; National Interest Waiver petitions; petitions for business executives, scientists, engineers, and artists of extraordinary ability in the O-1 and Extraordinary Ability categories; and petitions in the H-1B, L-1, J-1, TN, and E-3 categories, among others. She also has experience with family-based immigrant petitions and applications for adjustment of status, naturalization, and expedited naturalization pursuant to INA 319(b). Ms. Kozar’s practice also covers Form I-9 employment verification compliance.
