George A, Allen Esq. received his graduate law degree in the year 2006 from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University, New York. He has completed a judicial internship with Supreme Court of New York during his graduate studies. Since then, his area of work encompasses all zones of immigration law, including business and family immigration law, investor visas, and global migration services. Mr. Allen works closely with HR Professionals and Corporate Counsels to help their companies develop a strategic vision for using immigration visas as a way to attract and retain the best talent from around the world. He also helps companies develop effective and efficient internal practices and policies in the area of immigration law. Mr. Allen is a member of New York Bar who is thus eligible to practice law in New York. He is a member of American Bar Association and New York State Bar Association.
He is also eligible to represent clients in federal legal matters in all the 50 states of United States of America. He limits his practice to Immigration and Nationality law in the state of New Jersey and other states of United States. Mr. Allen’s start up carrier in United States of America as heading the Human Resources and Immigration department of an IT Solutions company helped him to recognize the complete bonces of the office management, human resources, and operations’ functions of corporate organization. He is continually responsible for ensuring that our clients, guests and facilities are always taken care of with the highest level of attention, care and hospitality. Mr. Allen can appreciate the personal and legal immigration challenges faced by those seeking to call the United States home. Ms. Mika B. Kozar, Esq. is an accomplished U.S. attorney with significant experience providing strategic corporate immigration counsel to clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small- and medium-sized organizations. She holds a law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in New Jersey; a Master’s degree, summa cum laude, in Human Resource Management from Rutgers University in New Jersey; and a Bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, in Business Management from Rutgers University in New Jersey.
Ms. Kozar is licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey, the State of New York, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. She was selected to the Super Lawyers’ New York Metro Rising Stars list in 2017 and the Super Lawyers’ New Jersey Rising Stars list in 2018, 2019 and 2020, a nomination-only honor for the top 2.5 percent of attorneys who are under the age of 40 or in practice ten years or less.Ms. Kozar has worked with multiple corporate clients across a variety of industries. She previously played a leading role in immigration program management and compliance for a large multinational pharmaceutical and medical devices company at the world’s largest global immigration law firm. She also previously worked at a boutique immigration law firm in New York City, and has served as an Alternate Responsible Officer and administered J-1 Exchange Visitor Programs for multinational clients.
Ms. Kozar has extensive experience with employment-based temporary and permanent visa categories, including Labor Certification (PERM) applications; Multinational Executive and Manager petitions; Outstanding Researcher petitions; National Interest Waiver petitions; petitions for business executives, scientists, engineers, and artists of extraordinary ability in the O-1 and Extraordinary Ability categories; and petitions in the H-1B, L-1, J-1, TN, and E-3 categories, among others. She also has experience with family-based immigrant petitions and applications for adjustment of status, naturalization, and expedited naturalization pursuant to INA 319(b). Ms. Kozar’s practice also covers Form I-9 employment verification compliance.
Jaice Jacob completed his Bachelors Degree in Law in 2002, and started his career as a Litigation Lawyer in India. Jaice gained extensive experience in Banking, Business, Arbitration and Corporate Laws and International Commercial Transactions. Jaice also received his Master Degree in Mercantile Law with honors in 2005. He represented large commercial banks and government corporations and was also engaged as consultant and adviser to many foreign corporations in Middle East, CIS and UK.
In 2008, Jaice is admitted to the Bar of UK, as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales. He is a member of the prestigious ‘Law Society of England’.
Jaice is admitted to the State Bar of California in 2019. He is also Member of the California Lawyers Association (CLA). Jaice joined Law Office of Thomas V. Allen in 2019. His expertise encompasses areas of Immigration Law with special focus on H-1B and Investment Immigration.
Ms. Salata focuses her practice in U.S. immigration law. She was named a "Super Lawyer®-Rising Star" and earned the highest Peer Review Rating of AV®-Preeminent™ from the Martindale-Hubbell Legal Directory attesting to her legal ability and professional ethical standards.
Ms. Salata received her Juris Doctor from University of Illinois College of Law in May 2002 and Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude from Loyola University Chicago in January 1999. Ms. Salata is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA); she served as a co-chair of the New Americans Initiative and UPL Committees and a member of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Committee (CBP) of the Chicago Chapter.
She was also named as chairperson of the Immigration Law Committee of the DuPage County Bar Association. Ms. Salata has written extensively in the area of immigration law and is a frequent speaker at bar association conferences.

Amanda has experience in the field of Immigration Law since 2018. She has been awarded a degree of Bachelor of Law with FADIVALE Law School in Brazil in 2017. Amanda had one of your Articles about the Brazilian Social Security matters selected to be published in your Law School’s Magazine.
While studying, she has worked with various Law Firms, and her last practice was with the Federal Public Defender (DPU), where she worked with Federal and International matters of all types. She had also awarded a Degree of IT Technician in Brazil in 2013. Since her childhood, she has been passionate about Laws, the reason why she is planning to become an U.S. Attorney soon.
After coming to United States, she has been working as a Paralegal focused on Immigration Family-based matters, Asylum, Waiver cases, and among others, and had also gained experience with New Jersey and New York Family and Civil Laws.
Throughout her time with our firm in the Green Card Department, she has been worked on a variety of cases types such as PERM labor certifications, immigrant petitions (I-140s), applications of adjust status (I-485s), NVC processing, naturalization, I-485/I-140 RFEs and other family-based and employment-based cases. In addition to this, she had also worked with H visas in our H-1B Department.

I joined this firm in May 2019. Previously, I had been working as a paralegal since 2018 after I had graduated college. I went to school at Rutgers University, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and graduated in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in two fields—History and Economics. While completing my studies I had written a history thesis and was part of a U.S. State Department internship. In my spare time, I paint and produce art.
Gayatri Patil is in the field of Immigration Law since August 2018. Since joining Law Offices of Thomas V Allen she worked in the H-1B department filing various types of H-1B visas – New Filing, Amendments, Extensions and Transfers. Since 2019 she joined the Green Card department. She communicates with clients regarding PERM filing and handles queries and immigration paperwork for the cases.
She holds a dual Masters in Science and Management and has prior experience in banking and pharmaceutical industry.
Gayatri is fluent in English, Hindi and Marathi.

Elsa has over 10 years of experience in employment-based and family-based immigration law. She joined the firm in 2013 as a paralegal. She is currently in charge of the firm’s green card department, support the managing partner and support firms’ attorneys by performing a wide range of legal and administrative functions. Prior to that, Elsa worked as a litigation paralegal specialized in immigration court proceedings in New York, NY.
Elsa Yu graduated from University of Amsterdam (Netherlands) with a Master’s degree in Communication Science. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Shandong University (China).
Elsa speaks Mandarin and English.
Ms. Melanie S. Laino has been awarded an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal studies in the year 2013 and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in the year 2015 from Berkeley College, NJ. During her studies she was determined to also gain hands on experience in the legal field. She has gained legal experience as legal assistants working in law firms with different fields of law. Some of the areas of law in which she has gained experience were in Criminal Law, Personal Injury Law, Bankruptcy Law, and now Immigration Law. Ms. Laino is also fluent in both Spanish and English.
Presently Ms. Laino is a Supervisory Paralegal handling and overseeing the Nonimmigrant department in the Firm. She has always had the drive to make a difference and be able to help people understand the law and how it can help them, whether it was working as a legal assistant for the plaintiff in Criminal, or Personal injury law, helping clients file for bankruptcy, or now being able to assist clients with the immigration process. What motivates her is having the passion to learn about the changing laws of immigration, and ensuring that she is 100% devoted to our clients. Ms. Laino is dedicated to ensuring that she is easily accessible to our clients and that cases are not only taken and treated as priorities, but are handled with the upmost care.

Previously I worked as office manager in it consulting firm and responsible for maintaining of office administrative, human resources and book keeping activities. Preparing required documents for H1 and Green Card filing, filing of business and employment-related immigration documentation, Setup Employee information in Quick Books and enter payroll data in Quick Books.
General retail book-keeping procedures such as daily deposits, bank reconciliation and auditing reports, Prepare Invoices, purchase orders and Payroll information. Updating all status changes of customers and employee's, like employee’s health insurance plan, provide require paperwork for background screening and drug test for new hire and setting up the accounts.
I loves the challenge of learning new things, confronting new issues and situations that were happening and helping the people immigration needs.
Savinder Sodhi has earned his Juris Doctorate from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School in the year 2017 and his bachelor’s degree in Political Science, History and Economics from Rutgers University in the year 2012. Prior to law school Savinder had developed some experience and in the field Information Technology working as a Quality Assurance Analyst at United Health Group and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
While attending law school, Savinder had spent afternoons, weekends and summers developing and honing his legal abilities while interning at such offices as the The Hale law firm, working on criminal defense cases involving murder and sexual abuse; the Orlando firm, working on cases involving personal injury and workmans compensation; and Richard Uslan Law Firm, working on cases involving traffic court and record expungements.
After graduating law school, Savinder has worked for the Law Office of Susheela Verma until April, 2019 where he worked directly under Ms. Verma in complex commercial litigation matters, lead the family law department and supported the immigration department. Savinder was instrumental in the legal research; client outreach; drafting and recording of deeds; drafting key documents such as interrogatory, briefs, memorandums of law, motions and etc.
