Amanda has experience in the field of Immigration Law since 2018. She has been awarded a degree of Bachelor of Law with FADIVALE Law School in Brazil in 2017. Amanda had one of your Articles about the Brazilian Social Security matters selected to be published in your Law School’s Magazine.
While studying, she has worked with various Law Firms, and her last practice was with the Federal Public Defender (DPU), where she worked with Federal and International matters of all types. She had also awarded a Degree of IT Technician in Brazil in 2013. Since her childhood, she has been passionate about Laws, the reason why she is planning to become an U.S. Attorney soon.
After coming to United States, she has been working as a Paralegal focused on Immigration Family-based matters, Asylum, Waiver cases, and among others, and had also gained experience with New Jersey and New York Family and Civil Laws.
Throughout her time with our firm in the Green Card Department, she has been worked on a variety of cases types such as PERM labor certifications, immigrant petitions (I-140s), applications of adjust status (I-485s), NVC processing, naturalization, I-485/I-140 RFEs and other family-based and employment-based cases. In addition to this, she had also worked with H visas in our H-1B Department.

I joined this firm in May 2019. Previously, I had been working as a paralegal since 2018 after I had graduated college. I went to school at Rutgers University, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and graduated in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in two fields—History and Economics. While completing my studies I had written a history thesis and was part of a U.S. State Department internship. In my spare time, I paint and produce art.

Since 2019 she joined the Green Card department. She communicates with clients regarding PERM filing and handles queries and immigration paperwork for the cases.
She holds a dual Masters in Science and Management and has prior experience in banking and pharmaceutical industry.

Elsa has over 10 years of experience in employment-based and family-based immigration law. She joined the firm in 2013 as a paralegal. She is currently in charge of the firm’s green card department, support the managing partner and support firms’ attorneys by performing a wide range of legal and administrative functions. Prior to that, Elsa worked as a litigation paralegal specialized in immigration court proceedings in New York, NY.
Elsa Yu graduated from University of Amsterdam (Netherlands) with a Master’s degree in Communication Science. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Shandong University (China).

Ms. Melanie S. Laino has been awarded an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal studies in the year 2013 and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in the year 2015 from Berkeley College, NJ. During her studies she was determined to also gain hands on experience in the legal field. She has gained legal experience as legal assistants working in law firms with different fields of law. Some of the areas of law in which she has gained experience were in Criminal Law, Personal Injury Law, Bankruptcy Law, and now Immigration Law. Ms. Laino is also fluent in both Spanish and English.
Presently Ms. Laino is a Supervisory Paralegal handling and overseeing the Nonimmigrant department in the Firm. She has always had the drive to make a difference and be able to help people understand the law and how it can help them, whether it was working as a legal assistant for the plaintiff in Criminal, or Personal injury law, helping clients file for bankruptcy, or now being able to assist clients with the immigration process. What motivates her is having the passion to learn about the changing laws of immigration, and ensuring that she is 100% devoted to our clients. Ms. Laino is dedicated to ensuring that she is easily accessible to our clients and that cases are not only taken and treated as priorities, but are handled with the upmost care.

Savinder Sodhi has earned his Juris Doctorate from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School in the year 2017 and his bachelor’s degree in Political Science, History and Economics from Rutgers University in the year 2012. Prior to law school Savinder had developed some experience and in the field Information Technology working as a Quality Assurance Analyst at United Health Group and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
While attending law school, Savinder had spent afternoons, weekends and summers developing and honing his legal abilities while interning at such offices as the The Hale law firm, working on criminal defense cases involving murder and sexual abuse; the Orlando firm, working on cases involving personal injury and workmans compensation; and Richard Uslan Law Firm, working on cases involving traffic court and record expungements.
After graduating law school, Savinder has worked for the Law Office of Susheela Verma until April, 2019 where he worked directly under Ms. Verma in complex commercial litigation matters, lead the family law department and supported the immigration department. Savinder was instrumental in the legal research; client outreach; drafting and recording of deeds; drafting key documents such as interrogatory, briefs, memorandums of law, motions and etc.
